The oversized QXL features 16% ovalization, compared to 10% for Rotor’s standard Q Rings. This increase in ovalization helps to boost efficiency throughout your pedal stroke by maximizing your legs’ natural strengths. Five OCP points allow you to “clock” the rings to reduce the dead spot within your pedal stroke. Most riders experience a difference within the location of their dead spot, meaning you’ll have to customize the placement of the QXL along the crank arms to maximize power output according to individual biomechanics and pedaling style.
